Active Brain Program has Cognitive Training + Cérebro Ativo App (Active Brain App). Cognitive Training is a cognitive stimulation to maintain the brain active teaching how to play and develop videogames. Active Brain App is specifically designed for elderly to promote longevity with better life quality. It practices memory, attention, body awareness, and has Humor and Progress tracking. The methodology is scientifically proven supported by FAPESP’s Innovative Research in Small Business (PIPE), Phases 1 and 2.
My role was strategic development with UX and accessibility consulting, design team leadership to develop the concept of the new interface identity in the Cérebro Ativo app. I acted as a designer lead with a team of 3 designers, leading their development, feedback and follow-up.
As long as the app promotes life quality and mental health improvement for people over 50, it's interface concerns with legibility and visual accessibility for the user, considering visual problems caused by aging.
